General Terms and Conditions – Gift Voucher Shop

I. The contract is concluded with Hotel Churfürstenhof GmbH & Co. KG, Brunnaderstraße 23, 84364 Bad Birnbach (upon payment of the gift voucher).

II. The gift voucher is sent by email or by post, free of charge! The gift voucher is sent in advance and is valid only once payment has been received in full.

III. Only persons aged 18 or over are entitled to make purchases in our online shop.

IV. Prices and products

The gift voucher purchased, with its respective total value excluding value added tax, cannot be redeemed for cash. If the amount redeemed is less than the value of the voucher, you will receive a further credit note.

An invoice with proof of tax can only be issued at the time the service is actually rendered, i.e. when the gift voucher is redeemed (German VAT Act – UStG).

No liability is accepted for delayed delivery by post.

The gift voucher only becomes valid once the amount due has been paid in full.

The gift voucher must be handed in at reception before the service is used.

Redemption is subject to the hotel’s availability.

The price list valid at the time of the stay is decisive for settlement of the gift voucher.

V. The gift vouchers do not include statutory value added tax; this is settled when the service is used.

VI. Illustrations of the goods offered for sale may differ from the actual products. Errors excepted; product changes reserved.

VII. Security guarantee & data protection

Your security is our highest priority! For this reason, data such as credit card number, bank sort code, account number, name and address are transmitted via a secure SSL connection when paying by credit card. This means that no unauthorised party can read the data you have entered while it is being transmitted over the internet. To provide additional security in the voucher shop, we apply a number of further security measures. Your details are processed by us using automated systems. On the basis of these general terms and conditions, the customer agrees to receive promotional information from Hotel Churfürstenhof GmbH & Co. KG. This data is not passed on to third parties.

VIII. Exchange and return

If a gift voucher does not meet your expectations, please return it to us within 14 days of dispatch. The written notice of withdrawal (cancellation) must be received by Hotel Churfürstenhof GmbH & Co. KG within 14 days. However, the right of withdrawal does not apply if use of the service has already commenced within the withdrawal period. This right of return applies only to customers who qualify as consumers.
